Jenna Linton, B.Kin, DOMP

Jenna’s approach to osteopathic treatment is individualized, unique and innovative. Each manual osteopathy session with Jenna can include some or all of the following: Osteo-articular (gentle joint mobilization), Muscle Energy techniques, soft tissue therapy such as trigger point therapy, Myofascial Release and Facilitated positional release techniques, Visceral Manipulation, Craniosacral therapy, and Therapeutic exercises.

Jenna studied Osteopathic Manual Therapy at the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto. Prior to this she was living in Vancouver studying Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Jenna has always had a great interest in the biomechanics of the body and its interconnectedness. From a young age she competed in gymnastics and dance which led her to see many health professionals ranging from physiotherapists, and massage therapists to reiki practitioners and chiropractors. This sparked her interest for a profession in injury recovery, pain management, and healing. Jenna has worked with brain and spinal cord injuries, and has a passion for neuroscience and neuro-plasticity.

Jenna’s approach to osteopathic treatment is personal, creative, and precise. Jenna’s understanding of anatomy guides her in discovering the major causes of one’s pain, and brings her to a solution that alleviates and prevents recurring pain.

In her free time Jenna enjoys hiking, reading, practicing yoga, and playing with her dog. She believes that if our bodies are in proper alignment with proper exercise and stretching, we can promote healing and lead people to a pain free life.
