Late Cancellation + No Show Policy

 

Our philosophy at Therapy Lounge is one of mutual trust and respect, for our clients, and for our practitioners. Our practitioners are all independent contractors who rely on the income they receive from our valued clients. We respect your time and we ask that you respect ours too.

If you cancel on short notice, or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, not only does that affect your practitioners livelihood, but you have also prevented someone else from booking that appointment, who might also benefit from a treatment.

In the last few months we have noticed an increase in missed appointments, so we would like to take this opportunity to reiterate our strict 24-hour cancellation policy.

If you fail to contact us (by phone or email) and do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be sent an invoice and be charged for your FULL treatment cost.

If you contact us and cancel your appointment for any reason (illness, emergency, work request, etc.) with less than 24-hours notice, you will be invoiced and charged a short notice cancellation fee of $75 + HST.

The only exception to either of these scenarios is if you send someone in your place and fill your spot, or with you contacting us asap we can potentially fill your spot with a client from our waiting list, then we will happily waive the fee. Win! Win!

We understand that “life happens” to us all, which is why we are willing to reduce the cancellation fee to $75 + HST, if you make the effort to contact us. We also make it as easy as possible to pay for your missed appointments through our online system and payment can be made directly through the invoice we send you.

We respect your time and are committed to providing you the best care possible, and we appreciate your business.
