Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a specialized acupuncture treatment that focuses on the face and skin. It involves the superficial insertion of fine, sterile, single-use acupuncture needles into selected points on the face and, depending on the treatment approach, other areas of the body. The needles are inserted gently into the skin and may remain in place for a period of time while you relax comfortably. Treatment provides a focused facial acupuncture experience while incorporating traditional acupuncture techniques.

During a Cosmetic Acupuncture treatment, your practitioner will discuss your concerns and areas of focus before selecting the appropriate acupuncture points. Treatment may include facial acupuncture as well as acupuncture points on other areas of the body, depending on the practitioner’s approach and training. Complementary techniques may also be incorporated as appropriate. The specific points, techniques, and areas of focus will vary depending on your individual treatment.

Before beginning your treatment, your practitioner will explain what to expect and provide an opportunity to discuss your preferences or ask questions. You can communicate with your practitioner throughout the treatment, and the approach can be adjusted based on your comfort level and individual needs.
