Alyse is a 1996 graduate of ICT Kikkawa College and brings decades of experience in Massage Therapy. Her approach to care is individualized, with treatment adapted to each patient’s needs, preferences, and goals. Depending on the treatment and her professional scope and training, Alyse may incorporate a variety of Massage Therapy techniques, including Swedish Massage, deeper-pressure techniques, lymphatic drainage techniques, stretching, and other approaches appropriate to the patient’s needs.
Alyse has completed additional training in a variety of specialized services, including Reflexology, Hot Stone Massage, Dry Cupping, Craniosacral Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Reiki, Thai Massage, Thai Stem Massage, and Thai Reflexology. These services may be offered individually or incorporated into an individualized treatment where appropriate.
Alyse also provides Pre & Post Natal Care through our Heartbeats treatments, including Divine Mama, Blissed Out Mama, Dreamy Mama, and Serene Mama. Each treatment combines Prenatal and Postnatal Massage Therapy with additional techniques such as Reflexology, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, or Reiki, depending on the treatment selected.
Before beginning treatment, Alyse will discuss your needs, preferences, and treatment options with you. The techniques used during your session will depend on her education, training, experience, competence, and professional scope of practice. Your treatment can be adapted throughout the session based on your comfort and individual needs.
Alyse is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO), and the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC).
Outside of her practice, Alyse enjoys staying active through cycling, working out, hiking, camping, kayaking, and swimming. She also enjoys meditation, yoga, stretching, and reading. Alyse values being part of the collaborative team at Therapy Lounge and looks forward to providing individualized care to each patient.
