About

Yazdan Raees is a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with over a decade of clinical experience helping individuals restore movement, reduce pain, and improve overall function through a comprehensive, hands-on approach to health.

Since beginning his clinical practice in 2015, Yazdan has developed an integrative approach rooted in the understanding that the body functions as an interconnected and adaptive system, where structure, movement, nervous system regulation, and lifestyle all influence health and well-being. He studied Osteopathic Manual Therapy at the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto and has continued to expand his perspective through extensive study in structural bodywork, myofascial integration, cranial-sacral therapy, movement science, natural health, and the application of functional movement and therapeutic exercise to health and human performance.

His treatments blend traditional osteopathic principles with a contemporary understanding of biomechanics, fascia, pain science, and nervous system function. Sessions are tailored to the individual and may incorporate gentle joint mobilization, soft tissue and myofascial techniques, muscle energy techniques, cranial and visceral approaches, corrective exercise, and practical lifestyle recommendations. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, his goal is to identify and address the underlying factors contributing to dysfunction, helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in health, mobility, and quality of life.

What distinguishes Yazdan’s work is the breadth of experience he brings to the treatment room. Beyond osteopathy, he has accumulated thousands of hours of study and practice in movement, mindfulness, health optimization, coaching, and human development. This multidisciplinary foundation allows him to understand the body not only as a mechanical structure but as a living system shaped by physical, neurological, behavioral, and environmental influences.

Yazdan also brings a strong background in health and wellness leadership. Over the years, he has designed, facilitated, and mentored numerous educational workshops, retreats, and immersive learning experiences focused on the philosophy and practice of well-being. These experiences have enriched his clinical perspective and strengthened his ability to guide individuals toward sustainable change, resilience, and greater self-awareness.

His clients include individuals seeking support with chronic pain, injury recovery, postural and movement-related challenges, stress-related tension patterns, and enhancing movement quality and physical performance. He also provides gentle manual osteopathic care for infants and children, as well as supportive manual osteopathic treatment during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

A lifelong metadisciplinary learner and practitioner, Yazdan continues to explore the intersections of manual therapy, movement science, neuroscience, health, leadership, philosophy, and human flourishing. His work is grounded in clinical excellence, intellectual curiosity, and a sincere commitment to helping people move more freely, function more effectively, and experience greater well-being.

He is an active professional member of the National Manual Osteopathic Society and the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths of Canada.
