Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a specialized body treatment known for its fast-paced, vigorous, and rhythmic style. Unlike traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), which uses very light and gentle pressure, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage generally uses firmer, more directional pressure combined with faster and more rhythmic movements. The treatment is performed over different areas of the body using flowing, purposeful techniques that are adapted to the individual’s comfort level and preferences.

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a distinct approach from the Manual Lymphatic Drainage techniques that may be incorporated into Massage Therapy. While lymphatic drainage techniques are part of the broader skill set of Massage Therapy, Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a specialized approach that may involve additional education and training in the specific technique. At Therapy Lounge, this treatment is offered by Alyse Jantzen, RMT, who has additional training in Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage. Before your session, Alyse will discuss what to expect, including the style, pressure, and pace of the treatment, and answer any questions you may have. The treatment can be adjusted based on your comfort and preferences throughout the session.
