About

Yazdan studied Osteopathic Manual Therapy at the National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto and has been practicing since 2015. He has a strong interest in Structural Bodywork, Myofascial Integration, and Cranial-Sacral Therapy, having benefited from the insightful guidance of many internationally recognized teachers. Yazdan has thousands of hours of training in Yoga, Meditation, Natural Healing, Holistic Lifestyle, and Professional Coaching, along with many years of experience in Osteopathic clinical work. He has a solid background in health and wellness leadership and has designed, facilitated, and mentored multi-day educational nature retreats focused on the philosophy of well-being. He is committed to volunteering and is a lifelong metadisciplinary learner and practitioner. He is a member of both the National Manual Osteopathic Society and the College of Registered Manual Osteopaths in Canada.

Yazdan’s approach to Osteopathic treatment is unique, innovative, and prominent. Each manual osteopathy session with him may include some or all of the following techniques: Osteo-articular (gentle joint mobilization), Muscle Energy Techniques, Soft Tissue Therapy (such as Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Positional Release Therapy), Visceral Manipulation, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Therapeutic Exercises, and Lifestyle and Nutritional Advice. He also offers Obstetrics Osteopathy.

Yazdan is a lifelong student of spirituality, service, healing, wisdom, and art, with a deep interest in both Eastern and Western traditions. He enjoys reading history, philosophy, and leadership, and is passionate about exploring detox and fasting methods, as well as plant-based, raw food, and mono diets. He plays the Didgeridoo (the Australian Aboriginal and oldest wind instrument), and learns Native American nature awareness skills. He practices Vipassana Meditation, Yoga, and Ayurveda, and contemplates Zen, Tao, and the nature of Spirit.
