SPIDERTECH™ Kinesiology Taping

SPIDERTECH™ Kinesiology Taping is an elastic taping technique that uses pre-cut kinesiology tape applied to specific areas of the body. The tape can be incorporated into an individualized Massage Therapy treatment or applied as a separate taping service, depending on the practitioner’s approach. During an application, your practitioner will assess the area being treated and select an appropriate taping technique based on your individual needs and goals.

At Therapy Lounge, SPIDERTECH™ Kinesiology Taping is provided by Megan Evans, RMT, who has additional training in kinesiology taping. Your practitioner will discuss the application with you before beginning and explain what to expect, including where the tape will be placed and how long it may be worn. The application can be adjusted based on your comfort, skin sensitivity, and individual needs. The specific techniques used will depend on the practitioner’s education, training, experience, competence, and scope of practice.
