About

They/ Them

Sam is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in June 2026. Born and raised in Scarborough, Sam is an east-ender who wanted to be closer to the city while still feeling connected to green spaces and the water, which is one of the reasons they love working in The Beaches. When they are not in the treatment room, you may see them around the neighbourhood walking dogs, cycling, playing beach volleyball, or soccer.

Sam values the safe and inclusive environment at Therapy Lounge and welcomes patients from the diverse community of The Beaches and beyond. Their approach is patient-centred, with each treatment tailored to the individual’s needs, concerns, and preferences. Depending on what a patient is looking for, Sam’s approach may be more relaxation-focused or treatment-oriented.

A relaxation-focused session may incorporate a variety of Massage Therapy techniques, including Swedish massage, deeper-pressure techniques, lymphatic drainage techniques, stretching, and other approaches selected according to the patient’s needs and preferences.

Sam also has a particular interest in treatment-oriented Massage Therapy, including care for people managing discomfort or returning to activity following an injury. Their interest in this area is informed by their own experience seeking Massage Therapy for lingering sports injuries as part of their rehabilitation and pain management. This experience helped shape their appreciation for the relationship between physical comfort and overall well-being.

As a neurodivergent individual, Sam recognizes how the pace and demands of everyday life can affect how we feel in our bodies. Stress and tension can show up in different ways, from changes in posture to sore shoulders, tight jaws, or headaches. Whether you are dealing with stress, muscle tension, or discomfort connected to an old injury, Sam believes making time to slow down and check in with your body can be a meaningful part of self-care.
