This ancient Ayurvedic Therapy is considered Yoga for lazy people or passive yoga because the therapist is stretching and massaging your muscles with their hands, feet and knees using specific Thai yoga poses to help to stimulate the energy (also known as Sen Lines) or points. This treatment is usually performed on a mat and lasts up to an hour. The client is usually fully clothed in comfortable attire for ease of movement for client through each Thai yoga pose or stretch. Some Thai yoga techniques may also be incorporated into a regular massage treatment on the treatment table. This type of massage is great for those who want the best of both worlds (a workout and massage combination), to help relieve excess stress of muscles and joints through stretching, and to help the body find harmony through the Sen (energy) lines.
