Nicole provides Massage Therapy, Hot Stone Massage Therapy, Sports Massage, Thai Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage (Localized), Neuromuscular Integration and Structural Alignment (N.I.S.A.).

Nicole studied massage therapy at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic, and after graduating in 2011 she promptly qualified as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Massage therapy is an excellent way to promote wellness and is essential for preventative healthcare. Previous work in an office provided Nicole with first hand experience how a seated posture can affect the body. It was this discomfort that initiated her interest in becoming a massage therapist. In her free time, Nicole trains for and participates in 10km and half marathon races. She has first hand knowledge how repetitive strain can lead to injury and will take this into consideration when doing a treatment.

It is important to address postural dysfunction as alignment issues can lead to chronic pain. A key method to normalize posture is to focus on releasing fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and runs throughout the body holding its shape). By taking a number of continuing education courses, Nicole has developed a variety of approaches to release fascial restrictions. NISA, Thai Massage, and Craniosacral therapy are modalities that Nicole regularly integrates into massage sessions to reach treatment goals.

Expanding knowledge and learning new skills is important to Nicole. She plans to go for further training in aromatherapy and more advanced lymphatic drainage techniques.

Nicole is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
